Simple and healthy 3-Ingredient Pancakes

I’ve never met anyone who doesn’t like healthy pancakes for breakfast (or hell, any other time of the day). So what better than a fast and simple recipe for a healthy treat? Here goes my favourite 3-ingredient recipe for healthy, gluten-free and quick to prepare pancakes.

What you need for them:

  • 2 Ripe Bananas
  • 3 Eggs
  • 1 cup of oats

Pancakes ingredients: eggs, oats, bananas.

How to prepare:

Mash the bananas. I often use the blender, if I am being extra lazy that day. Simply add the rest of the ingredients and mix them all together. As an option, you can add some baking powder to them, but, personally, I am not a fan of it. Use a non-stick frying pan.

What can you add?Honey, coconut oil, blueberries.

I love to use coconut oil to prepare them – not only does it prevent the pancakes from sticking to the pan, but also adds that incredible aroma and taste to them that only coconut oil can give.

You can serve them with honey, maple syrup, agave nectar or even enjoy them just like that – bananas make them pretty sweet anyway.  I usually add whatever berries and fruits I have at home and add some honey, to satisfy my humongous sweet tooth.

I’ve tried these before. Very healthy. I’m not too fond of the banana taste in them but they’re really not that bad.

Yummy! I’ve done similar pancakes to these for breakfast for couple months now. Usually I add some spices like cinnamon and cardamom to the recipe. Also, cocoa nibs and raspberries are delicious in these. 🙂
